Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is non-ionic cellulose ether made from natural polymer cellulose through series of chemical processes. It has the properties of thickening, water retention, stability of PH value, surface activity, film forming, emulsifying, gelling property, etc. HPMC is commonly used in cement/gypsum base construction materials, such as tile adhesive, mortar, grouts, gypsum plaster, putty, self-leveling, painting, coating; as well as liquid detergents, glue, ink, paper-making, etc.
